| | Hey, time for a hike don’t you think? Main Line Trail in Lewis and Clark County, Montana is a good choice. Main Line Trail being so far away from the nearest city it is one of many great trails in this area. This part of Montana is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. Main Line Trail gets very little rain; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. For the period of the months of summer at Main Line Trail highs are generally in the 70's. When the night sets in |
temperatures fall down into the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Main Line Trail. This river has it all. There's some flowing water nearby, Maryann Creek is a stream you can take a look at during your stay.
| Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Lewis Range. Glide down the rapids of Dearborn River in a kayak. There's so much to do here at Main Line Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Copper Creek Campground is a nice place for that. Get covered with water paddling on Falls Creek, and if you came to camp Sleepy Hollow Trailer Court is a magnificent spot to do that. In the Lewis Range there are many great hiking trails, it's a great hiking area.
