Many miles from the nearest city you have Main Line Trail and hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. Not much precipitation falls here at Main Line Trail; the month with most of the rain is May, and February is when it's the driest. That right there is a heap of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Lewis Range has it all. There's so much to do here at Main Line Trail that |
you need to camp here for a while, Sleepy Hollow Trailer Court is a good site for that, and Falls Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot close by. Visit Maryann Creek while you're here at Main Line Trail; in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater
| paddling on Dearborn River. In Montana you never run out of outdoors fun. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Main Line Trail has to offer, you can camp at Copper Creek Campground. Hiking trails are all over the Lewis Range, it's a great hiking area. All through the warmest time of the year at Main Line Trail temperatures are generally in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Main Line Trail plunge into the 10's.
