  Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and North Fork Trail in Lewis and Clark County, Montana is a good choice. If you come at the right time of year, Blackfoot River - North Fork offers some brilliant whitewater; North Fork Trail is a good location to camp, Blackfoot Canyon Campground is a good location. North Fork Trail is pretty dried out usually; through January this area sees the most snow; July is the month with the least moisture.
Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we
    recommend Blackfoot River. Looking for some flowing water? Try Dry Fork North Fork Blackfoot River It's always pleasant to stop at North Fork Falls. In the Lewis Range there are many great hiking trails where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains.
You just
can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the Lewis Range has to offer. Some of the water close by flows, like Jakey Creek, and Big Nelson Campground is a good campground here. Far from civilization you find North Fork Trail and when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person. Montana has so much to offer nature lovers.
At North Fork Trail during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at North Fork Trail.
