Petty Ford Creek Trail

  Petty Ford Creek Trail is located quite a long drive from Helena but It's always fun to hike here. Montana is a great outdoors state. In the Lewis Range there are many great hiking trails where beautiful scenery awaits you.
Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Petty Ford Creek Trail in Lewis and Clark County, Montana is a great place to go. If you're here at Petty Ford Creek Trail, you could go to North Fork Ford Creek, and in the event that
    you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dearborn River. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Lewis Range rocks! A short tour to Double Falls is always worthwhile, and you'll meet a lot of folks
from Augusta here. A quick journey to Red Creek close to Petty Ford Creek Trail is a fine idea; a pleasant place for whitewater paddling is Dearborn River. Home Gulch Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and if you came for an overnight stay Wood Lake Campground is a magnificent place to camp. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Petty Ford Creek Trail. At Petty Ford Creek Trail you donít see much precipitation. May is the month that gets  
the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. During the months of summer highs here at Petty Ford Creek Trail reach the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Petty Ford Creek Trail.
