If you came for an overnight stay Battle Ridge Campground is a nice place to camp, and why not explore nearby Maynard Creek while you're here at Rays Road. If you are in Montana during hiking season you have to go hiking.

wanna go back home again. Camping is available at Brackett Creek Campground, and it's a delightful idea to explore Olson Creek. For the period of the warm months here at Rays Road, high temperatures usually reach the 80's; the overnight is quite chillier of course, commonly in
| the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Rays Road.
Bridger Bowl is a wonderful site. Around Rays Road you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is June, and February is the month with the least moisture. Pretty far from Bozeman you find Rays Road but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable.
