Rays Road   In the Big Belt Mountains there are many great hiking trails where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Hiking in Montana is such a great thing to do. Finally, hiking time is here again, and Rays Road in Gallatin County, Montana is a perfect place for getting out. Rays Road is located quite a long drive from Bozeman but it is a great escape from the city. Olson Creek is a stream that you may come across while you're here. Camping is available     at Brackett Creek Campground, and needless to say Maynard Creek flows through this vicinity. Bridger Bowl is a good spot, and if you came for an overnight stay Battle Ridge Campground is a good spot to camp. For the duration of the summertime months at Rays Road temperatures are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Rays Road are in the 0's. Rays Road is generally a quite dehydrated site.
