Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Hooper Park Campground is a great local campground. You can run the rapids of Falls Creek near Red Mountain Trail. For the period of the summertime highs here at Red Mountain Trail get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Red Mountain Trail temperatures dip to the 10's. Red  
Mountain Trail is pretty dried out generally. Most of the rain falls through May while February is generally the driest month.
