Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Yellowstone River, and you can stay the night at Blackmore Campground. During the warm days of summer highs here at Red Rock Trail get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Red Rock Trail dipping     down into the 10's during winter nights. At Red Rock Trail you don’t see much rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. Get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of Mulherin Creek, and Palace Butte Campground is a wonderful campground nearby.
