If you came for an overnight stay Half-Way Motel Campground is a glorious spot to camp; if you come at the right time of year, Bear Creek offers some brilliant whitewater. Summertime highs at Sheep Creek Trail commonly tend to be in the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Sheep Creek Trail temperatures dip to the 10's.
