| | Skyline Trail is very far from the nearest big city and it sure is a nice trail. When was the last time you got out in nature a bit? if you happen to be in Gallatin County of Montana, Skyline Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. At Skyline Trail through the months of summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. could check out Burnt Fork, and Gallatin River is a delightful whitewater spot nearby. It is very dried out here at Skyline Trail typically; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. Skyline Trail is a wonderful place to camp, Specimen Creek
| Campground is a wonderful place; if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Madison River. If you come to this river you will have a good time for sure. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Skyline Trail has to offer, you can camp at Buffalo Horn Campground. Montana is a great outdoors state. | |
