  Smith Creek Trail is a very long way away from civilization and there's great natural beauty awaiting you along it. Montana has so much to offer nature lovers. Through the warm days of summer at Smith Creek Trail highs are frequently in the 70's, and the night is a bit chillier of course, mostly in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Smith
    Creek Trail are in the 10's. Hiking trails are all over the Lewis Range where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. Not much rain falls here at Smith Creek Trail; most of the rain falls all through May; February is the month with the least moisture.
