Snake Creek Loop

  Snake Creek Loop is a long drive away from Kalispell but when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person. Hiking trails are all over the Lewis Range where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. With so many outdoors activities available in Montana you'll never get bored. When was the last time you got out in nature a bit? Snake Creek Loop in Flathead County, Montana is such a great place.
Flathead National Forest is a glorious
    site to stretch your legs a bit, and there's whitewater on Bear Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Lewis Range. Camping is available at Summit Campground, and there's
some flowing water nearby, Snake Creek is a stream you can go to during your stay. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Flathead River - Middle Fork; Grizzly Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit. If you came for an overnight stay Devil Creek Campground is a tremendous place to camp. The yearly precipitation here at Snake Creek Loop is about average. The wettest month of the year is regularly December, that's the one that snows  
the most while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the period of the warm days of summer at Snake Creek Loop temperatures are mostly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Snake Creek Loop are in the 10's.
