South Shore Trail

Montana has so much to offer nature lovers. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and if you happen to be in Glacier County of Montana, South Shore Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. You'll have to go far from Kalispell to get to South Shore Trail but many people like to hike here to be close to nature.
Hiking trails are all over the Lewis Range, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains.
A quick visit to Paradise Creek in the vicinity of South Shore Trail is a glorious idea, and Two Medicine River is a great whitewater spot close by. Man, is there loads of enjoyable stuff to do in the Lewis Range. A short visit to
Appistoki Falls is always worthwhile; obviously Aster Creek flows through this vicinity. Aster Park is a tremendous place, and why not have a look at Paradise Point also since you're here. If you came for an overnight stay Two Medicine Campground is a perfect spot to camp, and Rockwell Falls is a scenic place to have a look at while you're at South Shore Trail. So many cool things to do at South Shore Trail, so little time. If you don't mind getting drenched, you
can always go whitewater paddling on Bear Creek. Cut Bank Campground is a great local campground. South Shore Trail is pretty dried out typically. Most of the rain falls through June, and the driest of the months is February. All through the months of summer, highs typically are in the 70's at South Shore Trail.
