  Because South Shore Trail is very far from civilization it sure is a nice trail. Not much precipitation falls here at South Shore Trail; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month is February. It's always great to have a look at Appistoki Falls; there's whitewater on Flathead River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline kick people.
Gotta get out of the city man, and South Shore Trail in Glacier County, Montana is a perfect place for getting out. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at South Shore Trail. Stay the night
    at Two Medicine Campground, and you can run the rapids of Bear Creek. Yeah, come up here to the Lewis Range for a brilliant time. A spree to Rockwell Falls will fill your soul with wonderful feelings, and don’t forget to take a look at Aster Park while you're here at South Shore
Trail.
At this river you will always have a good time. Aster Creek is a good local stream. You'll need more than a day to look at everything South Shore Trail has to offer, you can camp at Cut Bank Campground. In the Lewis Range you'll find lots of hiking trails where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. Montana is a great outdoors state.
Summertime highs at South Shore Trail commonly tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and
 
after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at South Shore Trail drop into the 0's. Be careful coming to the Lewis Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. Some of the water close by flows, like Paradise Creek, and Paradise Point is quite close.
