Camping at Beaver Creek Campground is always a perfect experience, and Flathead River - Middle Fork has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby. A normal amount of rain falls here at Spy Mountain Trail; the month with most of the snow is December; April on the other hand is the driest. |
Spy Mountain Trail is quite far from the nearest urban center and it's one of those places where hiking is great.
This river is so good. All through the days of summer at Spy Mountain Trail highs are generally in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into
| the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Spy Mountain Trail tend to be in the 10's. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Lewis Range. A fine place to camp here at Spy Mountain Trail is Spotted Bear Campground, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Bear Creek.
