| | We all need to get out in nature once in a while and if you happen to be in Mineral County of Montana, Storm Peak Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Montana has so much to offer nature lovers. In the Bitterroot Range there are many great hiking trails where beautiful scenery awaits you. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Bitterroot Range. Camping is available at Silver Dollar Inn Campground; some of the water nearby flows, like Storm Creek. and many people like to hike here to be close to nature. For the duration of the summer months at Storm Peak Trail highs are regularly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter
| nights come with lows in the 10's to Storm Peak Trail. McManus Creek is a great place to stop at, and get covered with water paddling on St. Joe River. This is a great river. If you're here, you might as well have a look at Cruzane Gulch, and why not camp at Denna Mora Campground while you're here at Storm Peak Trail. Storm Peak Trail is a good location of common precipitation; January is the month that gets the most snow; July meanwhile is the driest month.
