Summit Trail

  Canít wait to get out in nature, Summit Trail in Flathead County, Montana is just the place. In the Lewis Range you'll find lots of hiking trails, it's a great hiking area. Hiking in Montana is such a great thing to do.
Summit Trail is located quite a long drive from Kalispell but it sure is a nice trail. Get your heart pumping on the glorious whitewater of Bear Creek. If you came for an overnight stay Devil Creek Campground is a perfect site to camp. Whitewater
    paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Two Medicine River. West Fork Skyland Creek flows through this area, and why not camp at Summit Campground since you're here at Summit Trail. Flathead National Forest
is a wonderful site to go if you're at Summit Trail; if you're here, you might as well stop at Marias Pass. High temperatures at Summit Trail during the summer months are in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Summit Trail. Summit Trail is a location that is reasonably dried out ordinarily. Most of the rain falls through June while February is mostly the driest month.
