| | A visit to Montana is not complete without some hiking. Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Lewis Range where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Because Threetops Trail is very far from civilization many people like to hike here to be close to nature. If you come at the right time of year, Flathead River - Middle Fork offers some great whitewater, and a quick trip to Crystal Creek is definitely a great idea.
Summer at Threetops Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. High |
temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Threetops Trail. Drift down the rapids of Flathead River - Middle Fork in a kayak, and if you came for an overnight stay Murray Bay Campground is a great location to camp.
There's no way
| somebody can get bored here in the Lewis Range. It's a delightful idea to go to Coal Creek, it's close to Threetops Trail; Eld Island Campground is a fine campground nearby. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Threetops Trail in Flathead County, Montana is a really good place to spend some time. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Threetops Trail; December is the month that gets the most snow while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
