| | Hiking here in Montana is a must. Because Upper Landers Trail is very far from civilization hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. A river like this is too good to miss. Middle Fork Creek is a stream that you may bump into during your stay; Upper Landers Trail is a glorious spot to camp, Hooper Park Campground is a glorious spot.
Hiking trails are all over the Lewis Range, it's a great hiking area. So many exciting things to do in the Lewis Range, not sufficient time. Camping at Upper Landers Trail is tremendous fun, Copper Creek Campground is |
a tremendous local campground, and get covered with water paddling on Falls Creek. It is very arid here at Upper Landers Trail mostly; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
