| | This part of Montana is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. From a rain point of view Water Ouzel Trail is a relatively common site; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest of the months is April. Because Water Ouzel Trail is very far from civilization hiking it is always fun.
There are many hiking trails in the Lewis Range where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Man, is there loads of cool things to do in the Lewis Range. Get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Bear Creek, |
and Rising Sun Campground is a great campground here. Can’t wait to get out in nature, Water Ouzel Trail in Glacier County, Montana is a perfect place for getting out.
At Water Ouzel Trail during the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is slightly cooler
| of course, regularly in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows at Water Ouzel Trail during the winter mostly dip into the 10's. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Lewis Range, too fine to be true. The surroundings of this river have so much to offer. Virginia Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth a visit, and you can stay the night at Many Glacier Campground.

a day to enjoy this place. Going-to-the-Sun Point is around here and always tremendous to stop at, and a trip to Water Ouzel Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Baring Falls. Sunrift Gorge is close to Water Ouzel Trail and is definitely a brilliant site to pop by, and a pleasant visit to Rose Basin is a perfect way to spend an afternoon.
