  White River Trail is a long drive away from Missoula but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Lewis Range, it's a great hiking area. No chance of getting bored in Montana if you like the outdoors.
Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and White River Trail in Flathead County, Montana is just what you need. If you come at the right time of year, Flathead River - South Fork offers some magnificent
    whitewater. A quick spree to Juliet Creek right next door to White River Trail is a great idea, and you ought to beyond doubt dedicate some time to Brushy Park while you're here at White River Trail. Stay the night at Beaver Creek
Campground, and a tour to Flathead National Forest when you're here is never a bad idea. If you're here at White River Trail, you could stop by Pedro Creek, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork. White River Trail gets a normal amount of yearly rain. The month with most of the snow is December; the driest month of the year is July. During the warmest time of the year, highs regularly  
are in the 80's at White River Trail. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 40's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at White River Trail.
