There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Falls Creek, and Whitetail Creek Trail is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Copper Creek Campground     is a brilliant local campground. Carmichael Basin is a wonderful place any time of year; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Dearborn River. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Whitetail Creek Trail. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's.
