| | When was the last time you got out in nature a bit? Gage Trail in Macon County, North Carolina is such a great place. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Blue Ridge Mountains where beautiful scenery awaits you. All the outdoors fun things in the Blue Ridge Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. Get dripping wet paddling on Tallulah River, and Reynolds Gap is another brilliant spot to go to nearby.
Gage Trail is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, High Country Haven is a perfect local campground; do go to Mill Branch |
since you're here at Gage Trail. Don't forget to take a wonderful little journey to Henson Creek; whitewater paddling is glorious on Nantahala River. If you came to camp Appalachian RV Travel Center is a wonderful location to do that.
Hiking here in North Carolina is a must.
| You'll have to go far from Cornelia to get to Gage Trail but trails like these are great. Gage Trail sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls during March, and the driest month of the year is October.
Through the summer highs here at Gage Trail get into the 80's, and the overnight is fairly colder of course, commonly in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's while Gage Trail overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's. | |
