Group Camp Trail is a wet place that gets a good deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
North Carolina is a great place for hikers. People from Dunn love to come to Group Camp Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Cape Fear. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Buckhorn Creek, and while you're here, you |

Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Group Camp Trail are in the 20's. A fine site to camp here at Group Camp Trail is Jordan Dam RV Park and Campground.
