With so many outdoors activities available in North Carolina you'll never get bored. A great deal of rain falls at History Trail; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is October. During your journey to History Trail you'll meet some people from Wilmington for sure. Deer Valley Branch flows through this region; Holland's Shelter Creek is a magnificent local campground.
