and October on the other hand is the driest. Yeah, come up here to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a great time. A quick tour to Big Norton Prong in the vicinity of Shortoff Mountain Trail is a tremendous idea, and if you come at the right time of year, Norton Creek offers some brilliant
| whitewater. Cold Springs Saddle Club Dam is an exciting thing to check out; a perfect place to stop at nearby is Yellow Mountain Gap. If you're here at Shortoff Mountain Trail, you could take a look at Bad Branch. There's so much to do here at Shortoff Mountain Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Arrowmont Stables and Cabins is a brilliant site for that. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Shortoff Mountain Trail has to offer, you can camp at Van Hook Glade Campground, and there are some great whitewater spots on Cullasaja River. | |
