| | Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail in Jackson County, North Carolina is a perfect place for getting out. Hiking here in North Carolina is a must. Camping at Van Hook Glade Campground is always a good experience. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Norton Creek, and Richard Wood Lower Dam is a striking place, absolutely worth going to.
