Pretty far from Laconia you find Asquamchumauke Ridge Trail but what a great place for hiking it is. This part of New Hampshire is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season.

Baker River has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by, and at Beaver Pond Dam near Asquamchumauke Ridge Trail there are some exciting things to see. Asquamchumauke Ridge Trail is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Lost River Valley Campground is a glorious local campground. Beaver Brook is a stream that you may bump into during your stay. This is a popular  
place for folks from Warren, and spots like Jobildunk Ravine are great to go to. If you like the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Asquamchumauke Ridge Trail. A spree to Franconia Notch State Park invigorates the spirit.
