There's so much to do here at Bald Land Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Crawford Notch General Store and Campground is a pleasant spot for that, and swing by Gulf Brook it's a brilliant site to pop by. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the White Mountains. Bald Land Trail is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Green Meadow Camping Area is a nice local
| campground; there are some good whitewater spots on Ellis River. The high level of precipitation makes Bald Land Trail a pretty wet place; most of the snow falls during November while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Hiking here in New Hampshire is a must.
Through the warm months at Bald Land Trail temperatures are mostly in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
