| | Finally, hiking time is here again, and Bear Brook Trail in Carroll County, New Hampshire is just the place. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Saco River, and nearby Albany Intervale is a great place to go. Hiking trails are all over the White Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains.
All through the warmest time of the year at Bear Brook Trail highs are regularly in the 50's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's while Bear Brook Trail |

overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the-10's. You'll have to go far from Laconia to get to Bear Brook Trail but it's one of those places where hiking is great. There are some nice whitewater spots on Swift River, and getting to Cilley Brook from Bear Brook Trail
| is painless.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Bear Brook Trail a wet location; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that snows the most, and July is the month with the least moisture. New Hampshire is a great outdoors state. Camping at Bear Brook Trail is delightful fun, Jigger Johnson Campground 1 is a delightful local campground.
