Benton Trail being so far away from the nearest city it's one of those places where hiking is great. There are many hiking trails in the White Mountains where wonderful nature is waiting for you. Why not camp at Scenic View Campground since you're here at Benton Trail; there's some flowing water nearby, Little Tunnel Brook is a stream you can go to while here.

| a perfect local campground, and there's whitewater on Baker River for all you adrenaline people.
Jobildunk Ravine is a good place, and there are some great whitewater spots on Wild Ammonoosuc River. No chance of getting bored in New Hampshire if you like the outdoors. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Benton Trail; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest of the months is February.
