Why not camp at Basin Campground and Picnic Area since you're here at Black Angel Trail. And if that's not enough there's lots more entertaining stuff to do in the White Mountains. A quick visit to Red Brook in close proximity to Black Angel Trail is a glorious idea, and you can run the rapids of Ellis River. Black Angel Trail is in a quite desolate area and hiking it is always fun.
