A glorious location for whitewater paddling near Bog Dam Trail is Upper Ammonoosuc River - West Branch. High temperatures at Bog Dam Trail during the warm months are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Bog Dam Trail temperatures sink to the-10's.
