| | Hiking in New Hampshire is such a great thing to do. It's a long drive from Laconia to Boulder Path but it is one of many great trails in this area. This river is a wonderful place to visit. Some nearby water includes West Branch Mad River, and Boulder Path is a good spot to camp, Hancock Campground is a good spot. Be careful coming to the White Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Mad River; Norway Rapids is a delightful local attraction.
