| | New Hampshire is a great place for hikers. For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs frequently are in the 70's at Brunel Trail; the night is slightly chillier of course, typically in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Brunel Trail drop into the 0's. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the White Mountains. Camping is available at Pass Campground; Swift River has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by.

Passaconaway Campground, and some nearby water includes Pond Brook. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Sawyer River, and why not take a little journey to White Brook if you're here.
