High temperatures at Carr Mountain Trail through the warm months are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Carr Mountain Trail are in the 0's. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Waternomee Falls, and camping at Moose Hillock Campground is always a great experience.

From a precipitation
| point of view Carr Mountain Trail is a rather typical location; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This is such a wonderful river. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Baker River; camping is available at Swain Brook Campground.
All year is a great time in the White Mountains if you go for the outdoors. Baker River is a good whitewater spot right next door to Carr Mountain Trail, and why not a little side trip to Red Brook. | |
