| | This part of New Hampshire has a great deal of available outdoors activities. Carter Ledge Trail is a trail quite far from Laconia but hiking it is always fun. The high level of rainfall makes Carter Ledge Trail a quite wet spot; November is when you get the most snow here, and the driest month of the year is July. In the White Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains.
At Carter Ledge Trail through the summer highs are in the 50's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. Daytime |
highs throughout the wintertime are in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Carter Ledge Trail.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit Wonalancet; camping is available at Blackberry Crossing Campground. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more enjoyable
| stuff to do in the White Mountains. Get wet paddling on Swift River, and camping at Pine Knoll Camp Ground and RV Resort is always a fine experience. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and if you happen to be in Carroll County of New Hampshire, Carter Ledge Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching.
