| | New Hampshire is a good place for outdoors people. There are many hiking trails in the White Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. Carter Moriah Trail gets a normal amount of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain while January is commonly the driest month.

paddling on Peabody River - West Branch is so much fun. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and if you happen to be in Coos County of New Hampshire, Carter Moriah Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching.

| Trail is very far from the nearest big city and it is one of many great trails in this area. For the period of the warm months at Carter Moriah Trail temperatures are typically in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Carter Moriah Trail. Near Carter Moriah Trail you discover nice places like Zeta Pass; Peabody River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby.
