| | You'll have to go far from Laconia to get to Cascade Trail but what a great place for hiking it is. New Hampshire is a good place for outdoors people. All through the summertime months, highs commonly are in the 70's at Cascade Trail, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Cascade Trail. Why not camp at Bethel woods Campground since you're here at Cascade Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Beebe River offers some nice whitewater.

Spencer Brook is a magnificent local stream, and if you're visiting from Laconia, you won't be the only one. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the White Mountains. Squam Lakes Camp Resorts is a good local campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but
| if it's for you then, we recommend Smarts Brook.
We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Cascade Trail in Grafton County, New Hampshire is such a great place. In the White Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails, it's a great hiking area.
