| | It's a long drive from Berlin to Castle Path but there's great natural beauty awaiting you along it. In the White Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails, it's a great hiking area. Outdoors people generally like this part of New Hampshire. For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Castle Path get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Castle Path.
But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the White Mountains. Castle Brook is a lovely stream that |
is worth a visit, and you can stay the night at Timberland Camping Area. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Castle Path has to offer, you can camp at Dry River Campground, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Dry River.
Nearby Edmands Col is a glorious
| spot to go if you're at Castle Path, and don't forget to take a good little visit to Cascade Brook. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and if you happen to be in Coos County of New Hampshire, Castle Path is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Peabody River - West Branch.
