| | Hiking here in New Hampshire is a must. Deception Trail is a long drive away from Berlin but hiking it is great fun any time. The yearly precipitation here at Deception Trail is about average; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is February. Deception Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Israel River Campground is a great local campground.
All through the months of summer at Deception Trail highs are regularly in the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. |

The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Deception Trail temperatures plunge to the 0's. All year is a splendid time in the White Mountains if you go for the outdoors. People from Berlin love to come to Deception Trail, and in case
| you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dry River.
Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and Deception Trail in Coos County, New Hampshire is such a great place. If you came to camp Tarry-ho-cottages is a nice place to do that; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Upper Falls. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the White Mountains where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains.
This river is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Halfway Brook, and Ammonoosuc River is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. | |
