| | Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and Desolation Trail in Grafton County, New Hampshire is just the place. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. Take a little tour to Notch Brook while you're here at Desolation Trail, and get soaked paddling on Pemigewasset River - North Fork. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the White Mountains where beautiful scenery awaits you.
During the summer highs here at Desolation Trail reach the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in |
the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Desolation Trail plunge into the 0's. Camping is available at Pass Campground; camping at Dry River Campground is always a tremendous experience. A visit to New Hampshire is not complete without some hiking.
| Norcross Brook is in close proximity to Desolation Trail and is always a delight to pop by; whitewater paddling is wonderful on Swift River. Desolation Trail is not very near Berlin at all but it is a great escape from the city.
Desolation Trail gets a typical amount of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February is when it's the driest. | |
