| | Finally, hiking time is here again, and Desolation Trail in Grafton County, New Hampshire is a really good place to spend some time. In New Hampshire you never run out of outdoors fun. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Desolation Trail; most of the rain falls through August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. So much exciting stuff in the White Mountains, just tremendous. Why not check out close by Notch Brook while you're here at Desolation Trail, and drift down the rapids of Swift River in a kayak.

in the White Mountains where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. This river has it all. Pass Campground is a tremendous campground here, and if you came for an overnight stay Dry River Campground is a glorious place to camp. Desolation Trail is located quite
| a long drive from Berlin but many people like to hike here to be close to nature.
For the period of the summer months highs here at Desolation Trail reach the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Desolation Trail.
