With so many outdoors activities available in New Hampshire you'll never get bored. In the White Mountains there are many great hiking trails where beautiful scenery awaits you. Pretty far from Laconia you find Dicey Mill Trail but it is a great escape from the city.
Dicey Mill Trail is a tremendous place to camp, Pass Campground is a tremendous place, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend |
Swift River. This river is so great. During your visit to Dicey Mill Trail you'll meet some folks from Laconia for sure, and you can stay the night at Passaconaway Campground.
And that's not all the things to do here in the White Mountains. The Bowl is right here at Dicey Mill
| Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Swift River offers some delightful whitewater. High temperatures at Dicey Mill Trail during the months of summer are in the 70's, and the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, generally in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Dicey Mill Trail drop into the 0's.
