Drakes Brook Trail truly is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. Drakes Brook Trail is a trail quite far from Laconia
    but it's one of those places where hiking is great. Having a pleasant time in the White Mountains is painless. It's always pleasant to pop by Fletcher Cascades, and you can run the rapids of Mad River.
The yearly precipitation here at Drakes Brook Trail is about average; the
wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. A great location for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Drakes Brook Trail is Smarts Brook, and you'll meet a lot of people from Laconia here.
This river is a great place to visit. Snows Brook is a great local stream, and if you came for an overnight stay Passaconaway Campground is a good location to camp. Summertime highs at Drakes Brook Trail typically tend to be in the 70's while night lows are regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Drakes Brook Trail dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights.
