Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. Passaconaway Campground is a tremendous campground here, and paddling on Dry River is so much fun.
You'll have to go far from Berlin to get to Dry River Trail but there's great natural beauty awaiting you along it. Hiking trails are all over the White Mountains where wonderful nature is waiting for you. Summer brings highs in the 80's |
to Dry River Trail. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's; nighttime lows at Dry River Trail through the wintertime commonly drop into the 0's.
Camping at Dry River Trail is great fun, Dry River Campground
| is a great local campground, and get wet paddling on Saco River. The high level of rainfall makes Dry River Trail a pretty wet spot; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while January is mostly the driest month.
