  You'll have to go far from Berlin to get to Gale River Trail but it is one of many great trails in this area. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the White Mountains. A journey to Hawthorne Falls will fill your soul with pleasant feelings; Gale River Trail is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Gale River Campground is a perfect local campground.
Throughout the summertime at Gale River Trail temperatures are frequently in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The wintertime
    comes with highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Gale River Trail temperatures sink to the-10's. Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the White Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. This part of New Hampshire is always a pleasure
to visit during hiking season.
The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Hawthorne Falls; if you come at the right time of year, Ammonoosuc River offers some nice whitewater. Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and Gale River Trail in Grafton County, New Hampshire is a good choice. Gale River Trail is a good spot of common precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest.
There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Ammonoosuc River, and camping at Beach Hill Campground and Cabins is always a great experience.
