| | New Hampshire has lots of outdoors activities. In the White Mountains there are many great hiking trails where beautiful scenery awaits you. For the duration of the summertime, highs generally are in the 70's at Hancock Notch Trail. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Hancock Notch Trail tend to be in the 0's. You'll have to go far from Laconia to get to Hancock Notch Trail but what a great place for hiking it is.

whitewater spots on Swift River. There's so much to do here at Hancock Notch Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Pass Campground is a good place for that. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Hancock Notch Trail in Grafton County, New Hampshire is

This river has so much to offer. Hancock Notch Trail gets a common amount of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here; February on the other hand is the driest. So much fun stuff to do in the White Mountains, not sufficient time. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Pemigewasset River - North Fork, and Hancock Notch Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Passaconaway Campground is a good local campground.
