| | If you are in New Hampshire during hiking season you have to go hiking. Holt Trail is a long drive away from Concord but It's always fun to hike here. We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Holt Trail in Grafton County, New Hampshire is a great place to go. Coming to this river is always a good idea. Bailey Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit, and if you come at the right time of year, Fowler River offers some good whitewater.

falls during August while February is commonly the driest month. Holt Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Baker River Campground is a good local campground, and there are some great whitewater spots on Halls Brook.
