| | New Hampshire is a good place for outdoors people. Hiking trails are all over the White Mountains where wonderful nature is waiting for you. Throughout the summer here at Lawrence Trail, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Lawrence Trail sink into the 0's.
The annual precipitation here at Lawrence Trail is about average; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, |
and the driest month is February. You'll have to go far from Laconia to get to Lawrence Trail but it sure is a nice trail.
This is such a wonderful river. Paddling on Wonalancet is so much fun, and it's a pleasant idea to explore Kelly Brook. If you came for an overnight stay
| Jigger Jonnson Campground 2 is a great spot to camp, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Swift River. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the White Mountains. A quick journey to Spring Brook near Lawrence Trail is a nice idea, and Jigger Johnson Campground 1 is a perfect campground here.
