McCrills Trail is a long drive away from Laconia but there's
| great natural beauty awaiting you along it. From a rain point of view McCrills Trail is a relatively common site; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. A pleasant visit to The Bowl is a brilliant way to spend an afternoon, and if you come at the right time of year, Swift River offers some great whitewater.
Pass Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and Whiteface Intervale is a good site to stretch your legs a bit. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. While you're here at McCrills Trail you will meet lots of people from close by Laconia, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Swift River. | |
