| | Mead Trail is located quite a long drive from Laconia but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. If you came to camp Camp Winaukee is a tremendous place to do that; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Smarts Brook.
Summertime highs at Mead Trail regularly tend to be in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. During the winter highs are generally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Mead Trail are in the 0's. Spending too much time indoors got you down? |
No problem, Mead Trail in Carroll County, New Hampshire is a really good place to spend some time. The annual rain here at Mead Trail is about average; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February.

There's whitewater on Mad River for all you adrenaline kick people, and Beede Falls is always fun to check out. There's so much to do here at Mead Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Arcadia Campground is a magnificent location for that, and there are plenty of folks from Laconia here at Mead Trail.
