  Hiking trails are all over the White Mountains, it's a great hiking area. As long as you like the outdoors you will like New Hampshire. Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and if you happen to be in Carroll County of New Hampshire, Mexico Ridge Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching.
Mexico Ridge Trail is not very near Laconia at all but many people like to hike here to be close to nature. The warmest time of the year at Mexico Ridge Trail comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's
    typically in the 50's. Through the winter highs are generally in the 20's; night lows at Mexico Ridge Trail through the wintertime regularly dip into the 0's. Get your pulse rate up on the tremendous whitewater of Wonalancet; Jigger Johnson Campground 1 is a splendid campground
here.
Any time is a nice time at Mexico Ridge Trail if you have a thing about the outdoors. The surroundings of this river have so much to offer. Spring Brook is a delightful local stream; you'll probably meet some folks from Laconia here. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more exciting things to do here in the White Mountains. Some of the water nearby flows, like Kelly Brook; there's whitewater on Swift River for all you adrenaline people.
Mexico Ridge Trail is a good place of typical rainfall; the month of August is the wettest
 
with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Camping at Mexico Ridge Trail is splendid fun, Jigger Jonnson Campground 2 is a splendid local campground; you should positively dedicate some time to Birch Intervale while you're here at Mexico Ridge Trail.
