Mount Avalon Trail is a trail quite far from Berlin but hiking it is great fun any time. At Mount Avalon Trail during the summer highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Mount Avalon Trail temperatures plunge to the 0's. River Campground if you're here at Mount Avalon Trail.
While visiting this area in New Hampshire it's a good idea to go hiking too. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the White Mountains. Take a side tour to Gibbs Brook; whitewater paddling is
| perfect on Dry River.
Mount Avalon Trail gets a typical amount of rainfall; through the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is February. If you came for an overnight stay Tarry-ho-cottages is a great place to camp, and Ammonoosuc River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. In the White Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails where beautiful scenery awaits you.
